The rules of Thornvale
Last updated 21 October 2026
Thornvale is a shared world. These rules keep it fair and friendly. By playing online you agree to them.
Fair play
- No bots or macros. Don't use programs, scripts or tools that play for you or press keys for you.
- One character online at a time. Don't play more than one character at once.
- No real-money trading. Don't buy or sell characters, items or gold for real money or anything outside the game.
- Report bugs, don't abuse them. If you find a bug or a way to cheat, email us instead of using it.
- Don't try to hack, overload or interfere with the game, the server or other players' accounts.
Respect other players
Fighting other players is part of the game, and the game's skull system deals with unjustified kills. These rules are about behaviour outside of that.
- No harassment, threats, hate speech or discrimination.
- No spamming chat, and no advertising other websites or services.
- Character names must not be offensive, sexual or hateful, and must not copy a real person, a staff member or a well-known brand.
- Don't pretend to be a member of the Thornvale team.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old.
- Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
- We will never ask for your password.
If the rules are broken
Depending on how serious it is, we may give a warning, rename a character, remove items or gold gained unfairly, or suspend or delete the account. We decide each case fairly and look at the evidence.
To report a player or a bug, email support@thornvaleonline.com with the character name, what happened and roughly when.
